He had made his choice perfectly clear back on Air Temple Island, but as she laid there with death quickly approaching, she wanted to forget about all the hurt and drama and loneliness.

She wanted to hear those words and for everything to be simple once again. 

She wanted all that in this last blissful moment believing in what could have been.

So I never participated in Ship Swap week. Consider this a late entry.
